We are so proud of everyone involved and excited over the amazing buzz this piece has generated both for Dr. Basu and our Center for Aesthetic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Our office is going a bit nutters at the moment from the generated activity, ABC 13 had been playing the promo since the Monday of taping and it was placed as the headliner piece in ABC “Breaking News” on their website.

This procedure is a wonderful option for women who want the fuller look of a breast augmentation but would rather not deal with the hassle or possible complications of implants, which although are perfectly safe devices are still devices and therefore do not last necessarily forever.

So an option we offer along with the de rigeur method of augmentation is to mobilize the patient’s own breast tissue to create a more youthful, rounded appearance with minimal scarring. It’s an exciting variation on the typical fare that we are proud to offer, and with the overall cost being less than that of the breast lift procedure + implants, it has been a very attractive option to our patients.

I had a wonderful time working with our very lovely patient, reporter Christi Myers and Dr Basu on this segment and am sharing the end product with you.
