Show Off Brighter, Healthier Skin

Chemical peels are a powerful, non-surgical treatment option to rejuvenate dull, damaged skin. Whether addressing discoloration, fine lines, acne, or simply wanting a refreshed glow, our licensed aestheticians tailor every peel to your skin’s needs. At our world-class Houston and Cypress medspa locations, we use medical-grade ingredients and advanced techniques to deliver safe, transformative results.

What Is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a professional-grade exfoliation treatment that uses a custom solution to remove the outer layers of skin, promoting new cell turnover and collagen production. The result is a smoother texture, a more even tone, and a visibly brighter complexion. We offer multiple strengths of peels to suit your goals and downtime preferences:

  • Light Peels: Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) gently exfoliate for subtle brightening and improved skin texture. They are ideal for monthly maintenance with no downtime.
  • Medium Peels: Formulated with trichloroacetic acid (TCA) or glycolic acid to penetrate deeper layers. These treat sun damage, acne, and pigmentation with moderate peeling and 5–7 days of recovery.
  • Deep Peels: Made with phenol or stronger TCA blends, these aggressive peels address deep wrinkles, scars, and advanced sun damage. Downtime can range from 1–2 weeks, but results are dramatic and long-lasting.

The Benefits of Chemical Peels

Our Houston and Cypress patients love chemical peels for their ability to:

  • Improve texture and tone by removing dull, damaged surface skin
  • Minimize signs of aging, including fine lines and mild laxity
  • Treat discoloration, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation
  • Reduce active acne and clogged pores
  • Brighten and smooth for a refreshed healthy glow
  • Support collagen production for long-term skin health

Is a Chemical Peel Right for Me?

Most healthy individuals are excellent candidates for light to medium peels. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your skin type, tone, and goals to ensure your treatment is safe and effective. Some peels are not recommended for those who are pregnant, nursing, or have certain medical conditions, including autoimmune disorders, recent Accutane use, or active infections.

What to Expect: The Chemical Peel Process

1. Consultation

We’ll meet with you in person to discuss your skin concerns and assess your medical history. Based on your goals and tolerance for downtime, we’ll recommend the right peel for you—light, medium, or deep.

2. Treatment

Your provider will thoroughly cleanse the skin and apply the peel solution in layers using a brush or gauze. You may feel mild tingling or warmth. After the desired level of exfoliation is achieved, the peel will be neutralized or left to self-neutralize, depending on the formulation. We’ll finish with soothing, protective skincare.

3. Aftercare

Light peels typically result in mild dryness or flaking for a few days. Medium peels can produce more noticeable peeling and redness for about a week. Deep peels require 1–2 weeks of downtime with specific skincare protocols. We’ll provide all the instructions and follow-up to ensure your healing process is smooth.
