Morpheus8 RF Microneedling Houston

Want to look and feel refreshed with smoother, firmer, more lifted skin? Patients in Houston and beyond are raving about Morpheus8 radiofrequency (RF) microneedling, a powerful treatment that combines microneedling with bipolar radiofrequency energy. Combining these two collagen-stimulating treatments in one, Morpheus8 remodels your skin from within to improve skin laxity, texture, tone, pigment, and wrinkles.

Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery is thrilled to offer this skin rejuvenation treatment, which everyone is impressed with, including celebrities! Kim Kardashian called it a “game changer,” and Lindsay Lohan told Cosmopolitan she’s obsessed with Morpheus8! It also won a NewBeauty award for best microneedling treatment for the body in 2023.

How much does Morpheus8 cost in Houston?

With Morpheus8 and all the services we offer at Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery, we’re committed to educating you about every detail, including the costs, before you come to the office.

Morpheus8 can range from $600 to $3,000, depending on the area(s) being treated. The cost depends on the number of areas we’re treating and if you combine it with other procedures as part of your treatment plan.

To get the best results from your Morpheus8, we recommend a series of three treatments. We offer discount packages and financing options, including CareCredit, to make getting great results affordable.

HOT TIP: When you sign up for our B Exclusive VIP Membership, you can receive the maximum anti-aging benefits and discounts for a low monthly fee starting at just $149/month.

Can Morpheus8 be combined with other procedures?

While Morpheus8 wins patients over with beautiful results, it’s often combined with FaceTite for more dramatic improvements in contouring and fat reduction in stubborn areas such as the jowls, neck, and upper arms. It can also be done while you are under general anesthesia for a surgical procedure.

Morpheus8 can also be combined with our powerful Erbium laser further to improve the tone and quality of your skin.  Now we can combine skin tightening with skin resurfacing in one noninvasive session.

What does Morpheus8 treat?

One of the reasons patients love Morpheus8 is its ability to safely treat a variety of concerns on virtually any area of the face and body.

RF microneedling can treat:

  • Skin laxity
  • Stretch marks
  • Scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Sun damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Texture irregularities

How does Morpheus8 work?

Morpheus8 is similar to microneedling in that it uses fine needles to create tiny injuries within the skin, which triggers your body’s own healing process. The effect is tightening and toning, but the magic of Morpheus8 lies in adding the power of radiofrequency (RF) energy to the microneedling.

This powerful duo effectively stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and new skin cells. As the body works to repair itself, the production of collagen and elastin is boosted, creating fresh, healthy, strong skin.

How is Morpheus8 RF microneedling different from traditional microneedling?

Morpheus8 penetrates deeper into the target areas than traditional microneedling. With the added power of radiofrequency energy being delivered precisely to the skin’s foundation, you achieve more dramatic results.

Thanks to its three tip options and variable depths and treatment energy, Morpheus8 can be customized to your individual goals.

How many treatments will I need?

While some patients are thrilled with their results after a single treatment, we often recommend a series of three treatments for maximum benefits. Even when Morpheus8 is combined with FaceTite, following up with additional Morpheus8 treatments will further improve results.

What does a Morpheus8 microneedling treatment feel like?

The first order of business before beginning a Morpheus8 treatment is making sure you are as comfortable as possible. Depending on your pain tolerance, we’ll give you a few options for preventing discomfort:

  • Numbing cream
  • PRO-NOX™ self-regulated nitrous oxide (laughing gas)
  • Tumescent numbing/nerve blocks
  • Oral pain medication

Morpheus8 can be done in as little as 45 minutes, depending on the areas being treated and whether it is combined with other procedures.

Once you’re numb and ready to go, one of our highly trained professionals will apply the handheld applicator to the treatment area, as several tiny needles penetrate the skin delivering RF energy.

Some have described it as feeling like a hot stone massage; some call it “spicy.”

Does Morpheus8 hurt?

While some people can tolerate Morpheus8 using only topical numbing cream, others, even those with higher pain thresholds, find the treatment difficult to endure. This is where our advanced pain management protocols come in. We can customize the protocols to your pain tolerance using the options above.

If you’re very concerned about pain or fearful about any needles, we understand. We can safely provide extra anesthesia with treatments performed with IV sedation under the careful watch of our board-certified MD Anesthesiologist. In addition, Morpheu8 can be added to any surgical treatment if you are already under general anesthesia.

How long does it take to recover and see the final results?

Unlike a surgical rejuvenation procedure like a facelift, Morpheus8 doesn’t require much downtime. Patients in Houston love that they can apply makeup as soon as a day or two after their treatment. Most patients choose to take the day of their treatment off from work because they experience some swelling and redness.

While many patients notice some improvements within the first week, it takes time for your underlying tissue to remodel as collagen and elastin are stimulated and new cells grow. It can take up to 3 months to see the final results from each treatment. If you’re having multiple sessions, they will need to be spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

How long does Morpheus8 last?

Morpheus8 results are long-lasting compared to other non-surgical skin rejuvenation procedures. We recommend an annual Morpheus8 treatment to continue stimulating collagen and maintain your most youthful, healthy skin, but results can last 1-3 years.
