What to Expect: The Juvéderm Experience

1. Consultation

You’ll meet with one of our highly trained aesthetic injectors to discuss your concerns, goals, and treatment areas. We’ll assess your facial anatomy and recommend the right Juvéderm formulation(s) for your needs.

2. Treatment

Juvéderm is injected using a fine needle or cannula. Most formulas contain lidocaine to reduce discomfort, and we also offer topical numbing for sensitive areas like the lips. Your appointment typically lasts 30–45 minutes.

3. Recovery

There’s no required downtime, and most patients resume daily activities immediately. You may experience mild swelling or bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few days. We recommend avoiding intense exercise and alcohol for 24 hours post-treatment.

4. Results

You’ll see immediate improvement in treated areas, with full results settling in within 7–10 days. Depending on the filler used and treatment area, results can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months. Maintenance appointments are usually recommended 1–2 times per year.
